Providing compassionate psychiatric care to the people of Colorado and Wyoming.

Transparency about our Fees

Dr. Busch is an out - of - network provider for most Colorado health insurance plans (please inquire about our exceptions).  This means fees will be due at the time of service and your HSA or credit card will be charged at the end of the business day, or you may pay by check or cash at the end of the appointment.

If your insurance plan says that Dr. Busch is a part of it, it is likely for other entities that she contracts with (ie: TMS Solutions which has a similar address to her office). Please call the practice to confirm the fee for service schedule vs insurance plans.

If you plan to file a claim with your insurance company, we are happy to provide you with a superbill (an itemized statement for services provided). You will then work with your insurance carrier regarding coverage, and procedures for reimbursement.

Dr. Busch provides Initial Evaluations/Consultations for 60min an $450, and ongoing psychiatric care. Appointments are typically 30 minutes in length with a focus on pharmacotherapy (medications) and psychotherapy for $225. You may choose to schedule a longer 60-minute appointment for $350 for psychotherapy sessions including eclectic approaches incorporating CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, and psychodynamic.

What to Expect?

At your first appointment, Dr. Busch will hear what ails you and what brings you to her care at this time.  She will partner with you to develop the best treatment plan for you by incorporating psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy options that best suit your needs.

At each appointment, Dr. Busch will incorporate the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine as it applies to each individual and their own mental and physical health needs as our bodies, minds, and spirits are all interconnected.   This will be in an attempt to empower each individual to have autonomy over their lives and choices - to promote healthy nutrition and sleep patterns, enjoyable movement for body and mind, smart decisions about substance use, techniques for stress management, and emphasizing the importance of socialization, nature, and spirituality as it applies to you individually.

Dr. Busch has specialized training in pharmacotherapy (medications) for complex psychiatric disorders, and she has ongoing psychotherapy training in areas such as IFS (internal family systems), CBTi (Cognitive Behavior Therapy for insomnia), Psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

Dr. Busch is very much an HAES aligned (health at every size) provider, she is also open to counseling for weight loss, especially given that so many medications that are prescribed in psychiatry contribute to unwanted weight gain and metabolic side effects. There are some medications that she is able to prescribe for weight loss and has ongoing training to start prescribing medications like GLPs. She is currently enrolled in Obesity Medicine continuing education as well as Lifestyle Medicine (CME) and Integrative Psychiatric Medicine (CME).

Dr. Busch is also willing to consult with patients for letters they need for gender affirming surgeries, and she is up to date with WPATH recommendations. She is an ally and very much aligned with supporting care for all humans alike, no matter their gender identity, race, faith, occupation, etc.
