Providing compassionate psychiatric care to Colorado and Wyoming.

Rocky Mountain Psychiatry

Our Practice Philosophy:

To provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care in a supportive environment, empowering individuals to achieve optimal mental health and well-being through personalized treatment plans, fostering a sense of hope and resilience in their lives.

To offer trauma-sensitive treatment, helping individuals heal from past experiences and build resilience, trust, and compassion in themselves and their relationships once again.

To provide sensitive, informed, and competent mental health care for individuals, respecting the unique experiences, identities, and diversity, whether culturally, sexually, spiritually, genetically, academically, or physically.

Dear Patients, Colleagues, and Friends,

Rocky Mountain Psychiatry, PLLC is a private psychiatry practice, where you will interact with only Dr. Busch, and her practice manager. We are honored to be a part of your lives as you gain traction on your journey towards wellness.

Dr. Busch is able to provide not only medication management, but various types of psychotherapy that can supplement and support your care. She strongly encourages everyone to be in psychotherapy whether with her, or a psychologist, a counselor, or a social worker, in order to have a well-rounded treatment team to help support you with your mental health care.

She is a Health at Every Size® (HAES) aligned provider and believes in supportive and compassionate care to those struggling with weight, body image issues, and eating disorders. At Rocky Mountain Psychiatry, PLLC we will emphasize the six pillars of Lifestyle Psychiatry to help you live your best lives. Those pillars include exercise, good nutrition, good quality sleep, stress management, socialization, and minimal intake of ‘risky substances.’ She may provide brief CBTi to help you with any insomnia issues you may have.

Dr. Busch will refer you out to integrative psychiatric services should your depression or trauma symptoms be resistant to medication treatment, and such services include transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroconvulsive therapy, ketamine or psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.

Welcome to our practice. We are glad you are here, and we are honored to companion with you on your mental health journey.

Sincerely,

Jillian L. Busch, MD and Mark Smith, PhD
